The Frisco Website

Just finishing up re-designing the website for a restaurant in Austin, TX. If you haven’t been to The Frisco for breakfast, or a slice of pie, you are truly missing out on a great thing. Check it out!

The Frisco

There old site harkened back to a day of Netscape 3.0.  By updating it to a WordPress theme, I was able to customize their site to be easily updated and maintained.

Notes from Outside the Machine

“Notes from Outside the Machine” is a website that I’ve just started to work on. I’ve never had to deal with a full size scaleable image for a background. After creating the graphic, I used a little CSS to make it stick. If you are interested in how it’s accomplished here’s the code :

/* *Homepage background graphic
html {
background: url(/images/bg.jpg) no-repeat center center fixed;
-webkit-background-size: cover;
-moz-background-size: cover;
-o-background-size: cover;
background-size: cover;

That’s it. Just a little tweaking of the html tag in the .css file.

It’s a little heavy on the download, but I think the pay off is well worth it. The site itself features three unique blogs that can all be accessed through the homepage.

Added a page

It seems that I haven’t had to even think about a resume in some time.  Latley however, I realized that I needed a copy of my past jobs somewhere.  So why not here.  Click on the “Art Dept” link at the top of the page to see my list of jobs.  I haven’t added 2011 yet, but it’s coming soon.
